Having a new album entitled “No Pier Pressure” and an outstanding biopic called “Love & Mercy” finished, Brian Wilson has enjoyed one amazing year. Even though he is no longer one of the famous Beach Boys, Wilson has been touring. As part of that, he will perform at the St. Petersburg Mahaffey Theater.
Wilson has a long history as being an incredibly talented singer and songwriter. People who enjoy his music will have the opportunity to see him live at Mahaffey Theater on November 17. Ticket prices for the performance will start at $49.50 and go up to $79.50 for better seating. Interested parties can purchase tickets from the theater or online starting September 11.
Joining Wilson on stage will be fellow band mate from the Beach Boys era, Al Jardin. Together, several of the original hits will be performed to include Good Vibrations, Wouldn’t It Be Nice, God Only Knows, and Don’t Worry Baby. Although nothing has been confirmed, there is a good possibility that Wilson will also add a few tracks from the Beach Boys when he was the lead singer, to include Then I Kissed Her and Help Me Rhonda.
To people who know Brian Wilson best, they say that in addition to his talent as a singer and songwriter, he is a quiet genius. Throughout the years, Wilson has had his fair share of struggles but once again, he is on top of the world and fans love it.
The Mahaffey Theater is designed to accommodate 2,031 guests with European box-style seating. In addition, the theater offers lavish ballroom space and breathtaking views of Tampa Bay.
In addition to Wilson’s 1970s style of music, the facility hosts both national and international artists for various genres to include classical, Broadway, rock, country,, pop, jazz, American fold, dance, comedy, and the wonderful Florida Orchestra.
