For the first time in the past six years, Tampa Bay Fashion Week will not feature a runway show. Instead, 10 designers will feature their Spring/Summer 2016 collections during a four-day trunk show running from Sept. 16-19.

The St. Peter Claver Catholic School in downtown Tampa is getting a makeover thanks to employees of Lightning and other volunteers. Approximately 150 employees of the company joined forces with Majestic Athletic, United Way Suncoast, and students from the University of South Florida’s Sports and Entertainment department to create a more updated and inviting atmosphere in the school for students, faculty, and parents.
With Erika’s path getting closer to the state of Florida, Governor Rick Scott has declared a formal state of emergency. For operations, at least 500 new jobs will be created with an average annual salary of $75,000.
