For the first time in the past six years, Tampa Bay Fashion Week will not feature a runway show. Instead, 10 designers will feature their Spring/Summer 2016 collections during a four-day trunk show running from Sept. 16-19.

The job fair for Tampa Premium Outlets is being viewed as a rousing success after more than a thousand people showed up to apply for the hundreds of jobs advertised as available. The vendors doing the hiring appeared pleased with the turnout. The soon-to-open Pasco shopping center had roughly 800 positions to fill. Applicants that came prepared and appeared enthusiastic stood a good chance of landing a job.

Downtown Tampa School Getting Needed Transformation

The St. Peter Claver Catholic School in downtown Tampa is getting a makeover thanks to employees of Lightning and other volunteers. Approximately 150 employees of the company joined forces with Majestic Athletic, United Way Suncoast, and students from the University of South Florida’s Sports and Entertainment department to create a more updated and inviting atmosphere in the school for students, faculty, and parents.
