The 2016 Toyota Prius is the most fuel efficient that has been tested by Consumer Reports ever. According to the reports, the 2016 Toyota Prius has a mileage of 52 miles per gallon that is approximately 7 to 8 miles per gallon better that the 2015 Toyota Pirus. In fact, the 2016 Toyota Pirus has beaten Honda Insight that has been the best for more than a decade now.

The reports suggest that the 2016 Toyota Prius is fuel efficient owing to the aerodynamic structure that it has. The battery is better and it also uses the electricity drawn from it very efficiently.  The 2016 Toyota Prius had a mileage of 59 miles per gallon on 65 miles per hour drive test on the highway. The average that the car hit on the busy streets of a city was approximately about 43 miles per gallon. The 2016 Toyota Prius already has the best rating amongst the diesel cars of the recent times.

There is no doubt of the fact that the 2016 Toyota Prius is better that all the versions that have been manufactured in the past. In fact, the car is better than literally all the cars of its class in accordance with fuel efficiency.

It is quite obvious that with the 2016 Toyota Prius has achieved greatly bringing in small but effective improvements. They have made the body of the car better aerodynamically.
