On November, 2017, Bosch introduced a new brake called the iDisc that can cut air pollution as well as road accidents. The product was developed after years of research and helps alleviate particulate-emission problem in cities by reducing brake dust by 90%. Tire, road and brake wear is responsible for most of the particulate pollution caused from road traffic. Brake dust is responsible for causing a significantly high driving-related particulate emission. iDisc helps to address this cause by reducing the brake dust and thereby improving the quality of air, particularly in cities.

Pfizer Receives European Approval for its First Oncology Biosimilar

In July 2018, Pfizer received approval for its first therapeutic oncology biosimilar Trazimera by European Commission following recommendation from the Committee for Medicinal Products for Human Use (CHMP) in May 2018. Trazimera is a biosimilar to Herceptin (trastuzumab), approved for the treatment of human epidermal growth factor (HER2) positive breast cancer, gastroesophageal junction adenocarcinoma and HER2 positive metastatic gastric cancer.
